As indicated by the manufacturer on the packaging of this product, these elongated, breaded and prefried portions contain Gouda cheese , a type of Dutch cheese made from cow’s milk and characterized by its yellowish color.

These cheese Fingers , which Mercadona sells under its Hacendado white label, can be found in the frozen food section of the Valencian chain for a price of 2.20 euros .

Each 300 gram bag contains between 9 and 11 units of these Cheese Fingers. As can be seen on the nutritional label of the product, its energy value per 100 g is 303 kcal.

Its way of preparation is very simple: just add small amounts of this directly frozen product to a frying pan or deep fryer with plenty of hot oil (about 175ºC) and fry them for about two minutes , until golden brown to taste.
